Symbolic Collage

 
My fascination with collage continues. These are from the April/May 2005 issue of Stampers' Sampler magazine. These are some of the entries for a sewing themed challenge.


 
Altar-type collages (my favorite) in small tins. I love this idea. Like you can represent your whole life with just a few small items of symbolism

These pieces call to me. What trinkets would I choose to represent that which is important to me? Mine would have photographs, small toys, ticket stubs...

Also a tin covered with images from a vintage pattern. I love the possibilities and ideas this opens up for me.
