What a great ad. Never before has a boring old tape measure been made to sound so sexy. If you take out the stuff about the tape measure, it almost sounds like they're encouraging you to throw away your wrinkled old husband (he stretches anyway) for a LADIES MAN.

Master Rule, as a company, may still exist. I remember my ex-husband, a purchasing agent in Bridgeport, CT, used to buy metal components from them for his old company, as late as the early 90s.
