Sharing another past project

 
I attended an interior design school several years ago, but never completed my bachelor's degree. We learned about artist Claes Oldenburg and had to make an ordinary object on a grand scale. I made these soft sculpture scissors (my foot is in the pic to indicate size) that have a dowel connecting two pieces, so they actually open and close.

 Same scissor hung over a door gives it a spider-like feel and a creepy shadow that adds interest.
