This weekend was the 80th annual Thursday Club Rummage Sale.
Of course I scored some fun novelty ties.
Favorite Ties

Luscious Jerry Garcia "Banyan Forest" design, silk handmade plaid by Polo, and World Wildlife fund elephant design (I am making an African animals block right now, so perfect timing)
Price: 25 cents each!

Oh Barb, I chuckle every time I see your latest purchase of ties! It's got so that whenever I see ties in an opshop over here I am seriously tempted to buy some and send them to you! Would you like some Aussie themed ones with kangaroos, koalas, parrots, etc. on them? There are many more around, quirky, pretty, wild, etc. We could do a swap thing if you like, on a one-to-one basis as you did recently with another of your blog friends. Let me know!
Hugs
Gina

With the ties now you have some to go towards the quilt that you blogged about earlier this year.

That elephant one would make a sweet bookmark!
