Sewing kid's clothing...ideas and inspirations

I would love to be able to sew for my own kids, but I don't have any.
So I have a bunch of projects planned to make clothing for my friend Jen's kids, especially her four year old daughter.

I love browsing catalogs and places like ebay for inspiration.
And I love the idea of getting wild with mixing up a bunch of fabrics.
