Tied Down Rug
Wow. I am so inspired by this.
It's a woven rug, made with NECKTIES!
She left the ends loose on either side, to act as a fringe.

WAY COOL!! I AM inspired!! I checked out the site, but are there any real 'novice' instructions for this project??
re instructions:
1)floor loom that has at least 40" weaving width
2)cotton or linen warp set at 12 EPI
3)alternately lay narrow and wide end of uncut ties into the warp with a shot of warp thread between each tie.
4)plain weave
5)beat hard
Couple inches of plain weave with the warp thread at each end for a hem.
That's all.
seriously chic. wow!
Oh, now that's cool!
