Recycled aprons from clothing

I just got this vintage booklet, Aprons and Bibs, copyright 1945. This page just screams applicable to this month's Tie One On theme, of creating something from clothing. I will be posting more from this book in the week to come.

Here's another fun idea for the challenge.
This current pattern is from the Keepsake Quilting catalog.

This is my third post just TODAY! So please keep reading....:)

Wow, I can make a dozen of those. So many jeans that I've saved throughout the years, they have come in handy for craft projects.
I love the apron idea using an old shirt! I considered making my TOO submission using a men's shirt, but the apron shown has a better flow than the one I imagined - especially the back. What a great find!
Barb, this is brilliant. Thanks!
That apron book looks to be amazing! Do you happen to know who illo'ed it? It reminds me of drawings in a Better Homes and Gardens Baby Book from 1948 I have. Of coarse, the artist is not credited in my book...I am interested to see more of yours to compare.
