Garage Sale Goodies, 50 cents per yard

Six yards of the owl one! Posted by Picasa

Two quilted fabrics. I always used to shy away from these, until I saw that Lisa uses them in her pillows. The aloha one is, ironically, designs with birds. The other is a yummy fuschia shade. Posted by Picasa

Great finds! It is a dream yet fulfilled for me to run into a garage sale or estate sale of someone that had a fabric stash...

Jennifer, I go through the ads and specifically choose ones that say 'fabric', 'sewing', etc. This lady had four closets full of fabric. I was overwhelmed!

I've noted that one of your favorite creative sites is Majik Horse and Majik Horse Fabrics. Your eBay recommendation is quite right, as I won yards and yards from them of a fabric made up completely of illustrations from Aubrey Beardsley. I haven't a notion what I should make from it though, which is rather a delicious dilemma.
