Vintage Betty Crocker Ad, 1951
I just purchased an old Woman's Day Magazine on ebay. Even the ads in it are priceless (you can click on the pic to enlarge it and see the detail).
I suppose I should be like Mary of My House is Cuter Than Yours, and post my own version of the recipe for these Peach Puffs...
but in this case....
eeewwww.

Hello "Woof Nanny", It's been a while since I left my Paw prints on your blog.......I've been busy howling at the moon !!! (hehe) I have mentioned your blog @ #483 on my blog 21 21 21 Blogs
This absolutely belongs in the 'Gallery of Regrettable Food' on www.lileks.com.
Actually the peach puff has me intrigued - but I grew up with canned fruits....
eeeewwwww! That looks utterly foul!
i love it! :D
Aren't old magazines fantastic! I just found some old Sunset Magazines at an estate sale! Cool & weird stuff at the same time.
As long as this post has been up, you better be making those puffs!
I'm glad you featured this ephemera. Old paper is often under-appreciated. I feature similar ephemera on my blog at www.ephemera.typepad.com
I enjoy your blog and thought this was a very cool post. Thanks for featuring it.
