I just love the way Clay sings this song.
American Idol should have had Clay sing this for the exit song. Ruben did a nice job but Clay's is fantastic!
Embrace the cheese!
oooh, i loved that.
Yes, Clay does a mean 'Celebrate Me Home'. (Well, Clay does a mean EVERYTHING!!) I do not know why AI asked Ruben to record the song as the 'going bye-bye' song; but I guess they had to ask one of the 'winners'; and since Ruben hasn't done much at all (proves he did NOT win AI2), I guess they were 'obligated' and it shows. They did NOT have Ryan introduce the song at all (and even talked over it) and instead of having Kat McPhee on for some weird reason (although I love David Foster and Kat wasn't that bad);they should of had Ruben on to sing 'Celebrate Me Home'. If they never have him on at all this season, that would prove even more the producers (as I) just didn't think Ruben was as 'great' as the three judges made him out to be. They are throwing that in the judges faces AND Ruben's, too.
Clay Aiken is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Celebrate Me Home is an awesome song, and Clay is a fantastic singer. I don't think that makes anything cheesy. And if someone disagrees, I just say everything is better with cheese. :)
