More Get Well Wishes
Sending get well wishes and prayers out to Barbaro, who was hurt in today's Preakness. God it just turns my insides into a knot. I hope he's going to pull through. Those race horses are so fragile. What a shame.

A horse lover too? I was sick to my stomach when I saw that . My grandfather was a jockey. His name was JD Mooney,he won the 50th Kentucky Derby on a horse named Black Gold. Black Gold also broke his leg and unfortunatly had to be euthanized. Hopefully Barbaro will be able to retire to a stud farm and sire many more great racers.
I remember when a broken leg was a death warrant for a horse. I hope Barbaro comes out of surgery well enough to enjoy the fields which will be his retirement home!
