Random Thoughts

Why aren't there any drive-thru pizza places? A slice, a side salad, a soda. It would be perfect.

Having people say "Happy Mother's Day" to me, when I never fulfilled that dream...
that really sucked.

It costs ten bucks for a quarter tank now. I drive 25,000 miles a year. Ouch.

While there aren't any drive thru pizza places, we have buy a slice places... I think the biggest problem with that venture is the variety of pizzas available. Just last night I had a white pizza but I added mushrooms to it! (local mom & pop joint - hand rolled crust and all!)

And in my book, pizza needs beer! (no dinking & driving!)

Why? Why can't I even THINK about a slice of pizza? Why does it always have to be the entire pie? I look at my co-workers, who'll have 1-2 pieces for lunch, and just shake my head in wonderment.

I LOVE PIZZA.

... or Drive-thru Sushi, mmmm!

The Mother's Day thing does suck- I truly hate it when people say things like that without thinking! Once when I had my yearly physical at work, the doctor asks me: "How are your parents?" as an icebreaker in order to find out my family health history. I said I no longer had my parents. Sucks, huh? A year later I was ready for her though when she asked me again (lame!)-
Doc: "Are your parents well?"
Me: (channeling Monty Python) "No, not at all actually, in fact they're dead ".
I bet she won't ask her patients any more dumb questions!
