Photobooth Friday
Ninth grade. My (unsuccessful) attempt at sexy. Look at the baby fat cheeks. Geez. That shirt was crisp muslin with embroidered cardinals on the bodice. Surprisingly, I still have it--even then I thought it might look good in a quilt one day.
More photobooth goodness over on Andrea's blog.

When I was ten, I had a bright green dress, with yellow flowers embroidered on it. Mother had put them there, because I'd spilt orange juice on the dress and the damage had to be covered up. Anyway, as I'd achieved my adult height by then, when I wore that dress (unwillingly) to school, I would inevitably be called 'The Jolly Green Giant'. How witty
pre-teens can be.
I love this, your hair is gorgous and look at all those freckles- wonderful shot!
hee hee, isn't it funny how we 'try to be sexy' before we really understand it all?
great share
this is absolutely stunning. there are so many fabulous details here too-- the ruffled sleeves, your freckles, the cascading hair, the way your eyes look... really, so gorgeous.
