This recipe became the classic for oatmeal cookies.
I've made it many times. It makes a great tasting cookie.
Those cookies don't sound too bad... Just one clarification, Carnation milk is the canned milk - or regular cold milk... (Is there a substitute for milk?)
Not sure I'd want to date a guy who could be caught with cookies. Maybe the gelatin salads but not cookies.
For this particular cookbook, the milk is the regular kind. I have another Carnation booklet that uses canned, but this is your standard 'moo' (as my friend Gretchen calls it).
What do you think would happen if I made these for Bubba? Would he become permanently attached to me in a physiological way? Either way, I might try it just to see what happens. Spooky.
Also - you're tagged for a meme someone looped me into. Come see...
