What do you mean you can't design a room around a cat?
Once upon a time, I considered a career in interior design. Three years and a fortune in student loans later...I left the program.
I dropped out.
If my reaction to the judges of Bravo's Top Design is any indication...
I made the right choice.
Their comments are so lame, so snobbish, so incorrect, it just makes my stomach turn.
Okay, I feel better now. I just had to vent.

of course you can.
silverlight says, 'now I'm 'z'. blogger nailed me.
What do you mean? I wish they'd give me your email addy. Why do we fill out the info and then it isn't passed along? Grrr...
Glad to see I'm not the only night owl :)
They just let the best designer in the bunch go home, yeah, they're lame. What about those blue knee socks with the sun dress? This is a person who should judge design? WRONG!!!
Barb, I totally agree about Top Design. I was really excited about the start of this show, and after two episodes, I've had enough. I thought the hot pink catwalk was really cool! :) Can't wait for the next season of Project Runway... now THERE'S a design show on Bravo that I can get into. :)
Carrie--there's a house here in San Diego that has tunnels, shelves, holes in the walls...all for the cats. They give tours once in awhile, and there's a book about it. How can the judges be so lame? I don't get it. That was a fun room. Some of the other ones didn't look like kid's rooms at all. The black and white one was loved by the client--the judges didn't even take that into consideration. The kid LIKES black, okay? Grrr...
Thanks for understanding :)
